Gautham P. Reddy, M.D., MPH

"Dr. Reddy is a professor of radiology and vice chair for academic affairs and faculty development. Dr. Reddy is an expert in cardiothoracic imaging and is board certified in diagnostic radiology. His research has focused on cardiovascular imaging, including MRI assessment of physiology in congenital and acquired heart disease. During his time as a Radiological Society of North America Scholar, he investigated coronary pathophysiology in myocardial diseases. He has also studied the use of coronary CT angiography and MR angiography in patients with ischemic disease. Dr. Reddy is the co-author of 100 scientific articles, reviews and book chapters, as well as, three textbooks and an educational CD. He has presented 500 lectures at international, national and regional conferences. He has received five teaching awards. After obtaining his medical degree from the George Washington University, Dr. Reddy trained at Thomas Jefferson University and at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He served as chief of cardiac and pulmonary imaging and director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at UCSF."
