Lakshmi S. Boyapati

"Dr. Lakshmi Boyapati board-certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. She was born in Australia and received her B.D.S. (Bachelors in Dental Surgery) dental degree from the University of Sydney. She received her Masters of Science in Periodontics from the esteemed University of Michigan graduate program. She also received a certificate in advanced Implant Dentistry from the Misch Institute at Michigan, and was awarded a one year ITI Implant Scholarship to the University of Bern in Switzerland. Dr. Boyapati initially settled in Chicago, where she taught at the University of Illinois and worked in private practice. In 2008 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest to join her family here and to further her career in periodontics. She currently teaches at the Swedish Hospital General Practice Residency and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr Boyapati and her husband Shawn have two daughters named Mira & Maya. Outside of the office, Dr. Boyapati enjoys running marathons, riding her bike, baking and traveling."
