Mara L. Dooskin, Esq. is an attorney at Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. With over two decades of experience assisting clients with their family law matters, Ms. Dooskin is highly skilled at protecting her clients’ rights and safeguarding their futures.

As a child of divorce herself, Ms. Dooksin has a unique perspective into the divorce process, especially when child custody is involved. She understands how difficult the divorce process can be for everyone in the family and the potential for long-lasting implications when not handled well. Ms. Dooskin zealously represents her clients, while always putting their needs first. This may require litigation, but Ms. Dooskin will always explores alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, whenever they are in her clients’ best interests.

Ms. Dooskin is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar Association and New York State Bar Association and has exclusively concentrated her practice in matrimonial and family law. She provides attentive, compassionate service in all matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and division of assets. Her masterful knowledge of family law gives her clients immediate peace of mind.

Ms. Dooskin received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College in 1991 and a Juris Doctorate from New England Law in 1994. Upon graduation, Ms. Dooskin provided legal counsel for New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services, helping to protect the rights of the city’s most vulnerable children. Through her work, Ms. Dooskin helped countless children in the welfare system find their place in safe and loving families.

As part of her continued commitment to giving back, Ms. Dooskin volunteers with the Volunteers Law for Justice and with Partners for Woman and Justice.

Ms. Dooskin lives in North Jersey where she is an active member of her community and enjoys spending time with family and her dog Cole, a labradoodle. She is also an avid reader and can often be found in the summer at the beach reading a good book.
