Overlook PAIN + Recovery: Asher Goldstein, MD

Asher Goldstein, MD, is a board-certified pain management physician at Overlook PAIN + Recovery in Hackensack, New Jersey, and the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. 
Dr. Goldstein graduated from the SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Goldstein then completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the combined SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital, all in New York City. He holds Board certification in Pain Medicine, with the American Board of Anesthesia, and Physiatry, with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Goldstein has recently been named Chair of Pain Medicine at Holy Name Hospital in New Jersey.
At Overlook PAIN + Recovery, Dr. Goldstein takes a hands-on approach, and brings an outside-of-the-box style of thinking to his treatment plans. He looks at the whole patient, and not just their symptoms in order to determine the best care strategy possible.
