Dr. Hasell graduated from medical school in 1987 and completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics in California where he met his wife Dr. Pham, who is also a Pediatrician. They were married in 1991 and spent the first 4 years of their marriage practicing Pediatrics on Saipan, an island in the Pacific which is a U.S. Commonwealth.
They then worked together in California for two years before relocating to Florida and starting The Pediatric Specialist Medical Group. During the last 23 years in Florida Dr. Hasell has practiced general pediatrics which has included a large component of behavioral health and mental health; diagnosing and treating common mental health disorders in children and young adults.
He has also served as Medical Director for the Child Protection Team for Pasco County for over 20 years.
Dr. Hasell and Dr. Pham have three children who are now in college or graduate school. He has personal experience and insight into the challenges of ADHD and depression and helping patients with these conditions utilize their unique attributes to achieve their full potential.
Dr. Hasell is a member of the Rotary Club of Trinity and during his free time enjoys tennis, boating and performing in the Reggae band he is part of.
