Carmen Burke, MA CCC-SLP - Closed

Carmen earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University, located in Kalamazoo, MI. She was an intern for Oaklawn Rehabilitation in 2018, after graduation she was hired as PRN staff, and as of 2020 joined the Oaklawn team full-time. Carmen is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Carmen provides outpatient treatment for older pediatrics and adults. Her practice includes assessment and treatment of articulation, expressive and receptive language, reading, fluency (stuttering), swallowing, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders. Additionally, she provides dysphagia evaluations and performs Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies for the adult population at Oaklawn Hospital. She has certification in LSVT LOUD assessment and treatment protocol.
