Board-certified neurosurgeon Eugene Bonaroti, MD, FACS, and the professional team at Surgical Spine Associates treat every patient as a whole person, rather than only focusing on their symptoms or condition.

Dr. Bonaroti received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and stayed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to do his internship in general surgery and residency in neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
Prior to starting his private practice, Dr. Bonaroti gained extensive experience working as an attending physician at numerous hospitals in the Pittsburgh area, including UPMC Shadyside Hospital, UPMC Passavant, UPMC St. Margaret, and Western Pennsylvania Hospital.
Dr. Bonaroti most recently served as an attending physician at Allegheny General Hospital Department of Neurological Surgery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and as the Chief of Neurological Surgery and the Neurotrauma Director at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
