Kristen Hendrix, M.D., is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrine Society and The Endocrine Society. Dr. Hendrix is the area’s only Pediatric Endocrinologist. She was the team leader at her previous hospital in reducing diabetes-related hospitalizations and emergency room visits in patients with high risk Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. She completed both her fellowship and residency programs at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago and earned her medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine.
