Jefferson Jones, II, MD

Jefferson Jones II, M.D., is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been practicing for 8 years. He completed his doctorate at Mercer University School of Medicine and his residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. He currently serves as the Associate Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Midtown Campus. He also serves as Mercer University’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Department Chairman for the Columbus Campus. Dr. Jones has specific interest in minimally invasive GYN surgery with a particular interest in robotic surgery. He also enjoys taking care of high-risk obstetric patients and complications with pregnancy. Jefferson Jones II, M.D. is married and has four children. He enjoys being involved with his community and family. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Columbus. He is also active with multiple little league and football league organizations where he coaches and volunteers. Dr. Jones loves spending time with his three daughters, son and wife.
