Alan Laurence Saperstein, MD

Alan Saperstein, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Saperstein specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscus repair, and articular cartilage resurfacing procedures, including MACI, rotator cuff repair and shoulder labrum repair.

Dr. Saperstein is chief of orthopedic surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Dr. Saperstein currently serves as a team physician for Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. He is also a clinical affiliate assistant professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Saperstein treats each patient as an individual and considers their medical history, work and recreational demands, and health goals when developing a treatment plan. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Saperstein enjoys long-distance running and weight training. He has completed two full marathons and runs at least one half-marathon each year.
