Lauresha Hysa, MD

Lauresha Hysa, M.D, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Baptist Health and speaks fluent English, Albanian and Italian.

Dr. Hysa earned her medical degree at University of Tirana Medical School in Tirana, Albania. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.

As an internal medicine physician, Dr, Hysa appreciates being able to care for patients who range from young adults to seniors. Her interests include women’s health, weight management, diabetes care and chronic disease management.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Hysa takes a personalized approach to patient care. She believes that a clear understanding of her patients’ unique needs and concerns is vital for developing the care plan that is best for them.
