OCEC FOUNDATION

OCEC Foundation provides exceptional in-patient behavioral and mental health care and addiction recovery services to children, teens, and young adults. We provide crisis stabilization in the form of respite care for children who are in the custody of their parents, or other caregivers. OCEC believes in keeping siblings together and provides therapeautic care for sibling groups that are in county custody. The facility in Cleveland, Ohio, offers around-the-clock care for youth from all ethnicities, cultural identities, and economic backgrounds, and welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals.
Adolescents between the ages of 10-19 benefit from the skills and experience the diverse team of providers brings to OCEC Foundation. Therapists, counselors, physicians, and nutritionists collaborate to create personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs, delivering 24/7 care throughout residency at OCEC Foundation. 
The compassionate team members at OCEC Foundation work with patients and their families to encourage the development of healthy coping strategies and communication skills. The team's holistic, evidence-based approach combines various protocols such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, nutritional counseling, and mindfulness coaching. OCEC Foundation also provides crisis stabilization for aggressive youth.
By tailoring treatments to address individual circumstances, the team increases positive outcomes for a broad range of conditions, including substance abuse, addiction, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and conduct disorder.
