Dr. Jackson graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1973. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1976 and was recognized as a junior Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society recipient. His neurosurgery residency program, including the Chief Resident position, was completed at the University of Florida in 1981.
