About Us
Board-certified family physician Naz Wahab, MD, and her team at Wound Care Experts offer a progressive and integrative approach to medicine at their practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Naz Wahab is a Board-certified physician and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association who has practiced in Southern Nevada since 2003.  After completion of her residency training, she established her family medicine practice in Las Vegas.  During this time, she encountered and treated countless patients.  This gave her a sense of the gaps in patient care in our community.  
One such gap was the lack of proper wound care.  Hoping to do her part to meet this need, she began to offer these services.  Thus, Wound Care Experts was born, and over the past 20 years has grown into a multimodal wound care and tissue regeneration service line.  Today, Dr. Wahab and her team of providers offer the Las Vegas area modern, evidence-based, and advanced wound healing modalities.  Examples include macrophage technology, negative pressure wound therapy, hyperbaric & topical oxygen therapy, near-infrared spectroscopy and stem cell therapy.  
Some of the most common wounds the group treats include diabetic, arterial, venous, pressure, post-surgical, radiation-induced, autoimmune, palliative wounds, as well as countless other less common wounds.  Wound Care Experts also help patients optimize all aspects of their health that plays a role in wound healing.  This includes nutrition, diabetes management, cardiovascular health, fitness, and psychosocial health.  The team provides services for patients in acute care hospitals, post-acute care facilities, and wound care centers.  New to the Las Vegas market, they have created a clinical research institute for patients that have been unable to heal with other treatment modalities.  
Finally, the team is active in education.  They teach the art & science of wound care via seminars and publications, and are actively involved in clinical research, publications, and conference presentations.
