Volunteers have been a special part of Baxter Regional Medical Center since before its inception. Steeped in history, the enduring goals of the volunteers remain the same: to serve the community and hospital through compassion, dedication and financial support.There are many volunteer opportunities at Baxter Regional. Our volunteers assist in many fields, such as the emergency department, gift shop, thrift shop, patient care, clerical, information desk, patient menu distribution and special projects, and auxiliary fundraisers just to name a few.Volunteers enjoy many volunteer benefits including free membership to Knox Employee Wellness Center and area discounts.
