Optimal Health Miami: Marc Gittelman, MD

Marc Gittelman, MD, is a board-certified urologist at Optimal Health Miami who draws on decades of experience in the field of sexual health to diagnose and treat patients in Aventura, Florida. A nationally recognized speaker on the subject of sexual health, he has lectured before audiences at universities and medical conferences around the country. 
Before opening Optimal Health Miami, Dr. Gittelman founded South Florida Medical Research, a renowned research center. While there, he directed more than 350 clinical trials in medical advances in urology. He played a role in the research and development of leading sexual health medications, including VIAGRA®, Levitra®, and Cialis®. Dr. Gittelman also made significant contributions to clinical trials submitted to the Food and Drug Administration for virtually every medical treatment for prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, and sexual health.
Dr. Gittelman completed his doctorate and training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York. His academic success earned him multiple honors, including essay prizes, honors in all clinical rotations, and induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Gittelman served as chief resident at Mount Sinai. After relocating to Florida, Dr. Gittelman served for six years as a clinical assistant professor in the department of medicine at the University of Miami. 
Today, Dr. Gittelman uses his specialized training to benefit patients’ health. He and the team at Optimal Health Miami treat a range of problems related to sexual health and aging in men and women.
