Jennifer M. Brown, M.D.

"Jennifer (Jen) strives to motivate and empower her patients to have an active role in their health care. She believes this begins with educating patients by thoroughly explaining how body systems and disease processes work. She's found that patients are better able to follow through with treatment plans when they understand the causes of their symptoms. Jen is a big advocate for preventive care, emphasizing environmental and lifestyle modifications that can prevent illness. A former Division 1 soccer player at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, Jen enjoys running, spending time at the beach with her husband and two senior dogs, playing and watching sports, experimenting with new vegan recipes, and painting. She's originally from the Seattle area and loves visiting family and friends in the beautiful Northwest. Jen earned her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle and completed her family medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA. She's certified by the American Board of Family Medicine."
