Heidi A. Pearson, MD

Dr. Pearson completed her medical degree and a residency in general surgery at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. During her residency she was awarded TGH Resident of the Month by the TGH nursing staff. Dr. Pearson went on to complete a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at Tampa General Medical Group where she gained extensive surgical experience. She is board certified in general surgery. Dr. Pearson has been involved in research activities including complications of renal transplantation and innovations in dialysis access, presenting her research at national conferences.
