“Sports and athletics have always been an important part of my life, and I attribute much of my own health and well-being to being stubbornly insistent on leading a physically active lifestyle. Movement and activity are paramount to optimal health. This is true for all walks of life and at any age in life. I chose the specialty of sports medicine not only because I myself am a lifelong athlete, but because it’s the only medical specialty that values movement and offers non-surgical methods to restore movement.
