ABOUT DR. KIM
 
Dentist Bernard Kim, DDS, is passionate about going the extra mile for every patient at American Dental Office in Oxnard, California. 
He is a Southern California native and spent his childhood growing up on the beaches of South Orange County. When he wasn’t in the water at the beach or playing water polo, he was focused on his education, studying biological sciences and minoring in ecology at the University of California, Irvine. 
Dr. Kim then attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. While attending dental school, he carved out time to pursue his dental hygiene degree to further augment his skills. 
Dr. Kim is extremely dedicated to his profession and holds himself to a high standard of excellence. He loves the science of dentistry and has traveled all over the country to continue his education and learn from the best in the field. Dr. Kim has completed hundreds of hours of advanced training and postgraduate education to provide his patients with the newest techniques and latest advancements in dental technology. 
Whether it was after Hurricane Katrina, Special Olympics Special Smiles, dental missions trips, or mobile dental clinics, Dr. Kim continues to find opportunities to provide dental services and partner with organizations around the world when it comes to bringing smiles to those in need.
Dr. Kim is passionate about the overall health and well being of every patient he sees. The office is designed to provide high-quality dental care while maintaining its accessibility to the community.
