Board Certified in Clinical Social Work, I'm a psychotherapist in private practice, specializing and certified in two main methodologies: 1) EMDR THERAPY for adults with adverse life experiences, emotional trauma or P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder); and 2) IMAGO RELATIONSHIP THERAPY for couples. I've had lots of training in treating sexual abuse, as well as substance abuse. I'm also a Certified EMDR Consultant--1 of 2 in town--and a Certified Clinical Social Work Supervisor.
I sponsor all EMDR trainings in Charlotte for the EMDR Institute in California--at least two a year for therapists . As a Facilitator, I train each afternoon in the 3-day Basic Trainings. I'm also an EMDRIA Approved Consultant for therapists after their initial or ongoing training in EMDR.
