ABOUT DR. LACH
Orthodontist David Lach, DDS, MS, PA brings more than 25 years of experience to Lach Orthodontic Specialists, serving men, women, and families at two convenient locations in Oviedo and Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Lach was born and raised in a small Midwest town near Akron, Ohio. He began his professional pursuits at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry, where he earned his doctor of dental surgery. He subsequently obtained a master’s degree in oral biology from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky. There, Dr. Lach conducted original research, using computers to simulate and predict changes following orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Lach spends an average of 50-100 hours each year participating in advanced continuing education courses. He was the first doctor in Central Florida to bring futuristic technology, such as 3D printing, scanning, and robotics to his practice. Dr. Lach was also one of the first orthodontists in the area to offer Invisalign. Since then, he’s become one of the area’s only Elite Preferred Invisalign specialists, a designation awarded to the top 1% of Invisalign doctors in the world. 
When he isn’t meeting with patients or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Lach serves as an assistant professor of orthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Lach and his wife, Hope, have three children: Grant, Bryce, and Emmie. They also have a golden retriever named Sanford, a Jack Russell terrier named Fee Fee, and two cats, Lolly and Pop. In his free time, Dr. Lach enjoys spending time outdoors and playing sports. He’s a former Division 1 and semi-professional soccer player and loves boating, golfing, and waterskiing.
