ANAY PATEL, MD
Anay Patel, MD, is a skilled, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in both nonoperative methods and minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat all types of joint conditions. Dr. Patel treats patients of all ages and backgrounds with compassion and personalized attention in the Houston, Texas, area.
Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. In 2009, he earned his doctor of medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He then went on to complete his residency at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois. While there, Dr. Patel won the prestigious Alan W. Yasko Award for Outstanding Research Presentation from the school’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
During his professional career, Dr. Patel has enjoyed getting to know patients on a personal level. Forming close personal relationships with his clientele is a key part of his practice. His hard work and commitment to developing personalized joint treatment plans for arthritis, sports injuries, accidents, and other causes have endeared him to Houston-area patients.
Dr. Patel also holds membership in the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons and has had his orthopedic research published in a variety of renowned medical publications.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending as much quality time as possible with his family and friends.
