 Dr. Daniel Nelson is board-certified, and fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine. He brings the highest level of expertise in interventional pain and regenerative medicine in the Puget Sound region. His goal is to improve his patients’ quality of life while using traditional and cutting-edge therapies to relieve the patient’s pain while avoiding invasive surgery and opioid medication.

Dr. Nelson is an early adopter of the latest technologies in the field of pain medicine, treating patients who suffer from all forms of chronic, persistent, or recurring pain. Dr. Daniel Nelson and Sarah Goble, PA-C are highly skilled in diagnosing patients’ conditions and creating individual treatment plans that are custom-tailored to each patients’ needs. Some of the conditions Dr. Nelson treats include back pain and neck pain, shoulder pain, joint pain, foot and ankle pain, sports injuries, sciatica, spinal stenosis, neuropathy, and other conditions affecting nerves, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Dr. Nelson is the most established interventional pain physician in our area, incorporating state of the art and innovative technology in his treatment plans. He is the first in our state to perform the Vertiflex® procedure, a new minimally invasive treatment for lumbar spinal stenosis. Dr. Nelson has extensive experience in performing advanced techniques including, but not limited to Kyphoplasty/Vertebroplasty for compression fractures, Spinal Cord Stimulators, Ultrasound-Guided Injections, Sympathetic Blocks, and Radiofrequency Ablation. Additionally, Dr. Nelson provides expert regenerative medicine therapies like stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments that are safe and effective, and could help patients avoid surgery.
