"Carmen focuses on listening to patients, having open communication with them, and involving them in decision-making. She's passionate about prevention, helping people improve their diet, and helping those with chronic diseases better understand their conditions. She also has a special interest in functional medicine. To stay healthy, Carmen tries to eat as healthy as she can and hikes, walks, and runs. In her free time, she also loves going to the movies, finding a nice place to drink coffee and read a good book, and going to the theater. Carmen earned her medical degree at Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco before completing her residency at Eisenhower Medical Center.
