Sanford Mark Lederman, MD

Sanford M. Lederman, MD, is Chairman and Program Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Lederman did his residency at Long Island College Hospital and then completed a two year fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the University of California Irvine. His expertise in high-risk pregnancy, amniocentesis and ultrasound has rewarded him with listing in New York Magazine Best Doctors. He has lectured nationwide on topics related to high-risk pregnancy. He is a member of the Brooklyn GYN Society, American Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lederman is dedicated to residency education and training.
