Lori Sandra Weisenfeld, DPM

Dr. Lori Weisenfeld is a board certified podiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the foot, ankle and related structures of the leg. She has been treating athletes, dancers and performers from around the world for over twenty-five years. She has appeared on many network news shows and has been quoted in numerous national publications and periodicals. Dr. Weisenfeld prides herself on taking the time with each patient to explain their conditions and help them decide which conservative or surgical treatment will allow them to return to pain-free walking and exercise.Dr. Weisenfeld graduated from Boston University with a bachelor s degree in Mass Communications. She earned her podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her podiatric surgical residency at William B Kessler Memorial Hospital. She is board certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board or Podiatric Medicine. She is on staff in the Department of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai Hospital and holds the position of Vice Chair of the Medical Advisory Board at Gramercy Surgery Center. Dr. Weisenfeld is a Clinical Advisor to The American Running Association and has been a volunteer at the New York City Marathon for over two decades.
