New York Spine & Pain Physicians (NYSPP) formerly New York Pain Consultants was founded in 1999 by Dr. Craig Shalmi and Dr. Luis Fandos with the vision to relieve pain and improve overall quality of life through an individualized approach to every patient. Since it was founded it has become the leading pain management group in Long Island with 6 pain management physicians and three convenient locations. In 2013 NYSPP became affiliated with National Spine & Pain Centers one of the largest pain management practices on the east coast. This partnership has benefited patients by allowing access to better practice management resources and research opportunities.
