Maria Victoria Laserna, PA-C was born in Bogoto, Colombia, but came to the United States at a young age. After graduating high school, Victoria moved to Miami and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida International University. She then continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she received her master’s degree in medical science. Victoria is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice and prescribe in the State of Florida.

After PA school, Victoria worked in GI oncology at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center. She then transitioned into the field of dermatology, where she has been working for the past seven years. Victoria’s experience allows her to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. She specializes in treating a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, along with hair and nail conditions. She is trained to perform biopsies and screen for skin cancers. She is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She continues her education by regularly attending dermatology conferences and seminars.
