Susana Mandel, ARNP

Susana Mandel, ARNP was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated as a pharmacist from Universidad Santa Maria, Caracas in 1977, and worked at the new products department in FARMA, a pharmaceutical lab until entering medical school. She received her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela Luis Razetti in 1986, after which she completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Hospital Jose Gregorio Hernandez in Caracas. Susana then earned her dermatologist specialist degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela Jose Maria Vargas, Instituto de Biomedicina in 1991. She worked in solo practice as a dermatologist in Centro Clinico Profesional Caracas until 2004 when she migrated to the USA.

After arriving in the US, she worked as a laser specialist in Aventura Medical and Cosmetic Center until 2013. She graduated from Florida International University as an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) in 2013. Following her graduation, she began working as a dermatologist ARNP at Hollywood Dermatology.
