Meet Dr. Minh D. Nguyen
Family dentist Minh D. Nguyen, DDS, brings over a decade of experience in general, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry to Portrait Dental. As the owner and medical director of Portrait Dental, he proudly serves men, women, and families throughout in and around Katy, Texas.
Dr. Nguyen began his professional education at the University of Houston in Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. He subsequently enrolled in the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. 
Dr. Nguyen proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He regularly participates in ongoing education to stay current on the latest technologies and procedures in dentistry. This passion for oral health care ensures that all of his patients receive the best possible treatment. 
Dr. Nguyen offers a warm, welcoming, and calming office environment. He uses digitally-driven care to provide the best possible results, helping patients achieve straighter, healthier, and more beautiful smiles. 
Dr. Nguyen works with people of all ages, from small children and teenagers to adults and seniors. He offers a full range of general, preventive, and restorative treatment options, including dental exams, implant restorations, smile makeovers, orthodontic treatment with Invisalign®, teeth whitening, and all-ceramic veneers. For patients with dental anxiety, Dr. Nguyen also offers oral sedation. 
He sets aside plenty of time to spend with each new patient and listens to their unique concerns and goals for treatment. After conducting a thorough exam and interview, Dr. Nguyen develops care plans to align with each individual’s unique needs. 
When he isn’t working with patients, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, their two children, and their little rescue dog Rusty. He enjoys digital photography, hence the practice’s Portrait Dental namesake. Dr. Nguyen is also a major tennis fan. It’s on his bucket list to attend all of the Grand Slam title events.
