About Dr. Misuk Kim
Misuk Kim, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN focusing on a holistic approach to total well-being at Misuk Kim MD Wellness Center, with offices in Annandale, Virginia, and Chevy Chase, Maryland. Dr. Kim began practicing obstetrics and gynecology and was regarded as an accomplished gynecologic surgeon in Korea. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has admitting privileges at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, and Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia.
Throughout her career, she has delivered over 6500 babies, including over 2000 in the Washington, DC, suburbs. Dr. Kim transitioned to preventive gynecology and surgical treatments, as well as aesthetic care to provide the highest level of personalized attention to her patients. In private practice, Dr. Kim offers several specialized procedures, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, and dilation and curettage (D&C). She is also highly experienced in ultrasound technology and performs diagnostic hysteroscopy procedures in-office.
Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from Kyungpook National University School of Medicine in Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea, and completed both a residency and fellowship in obstetrics and gynecology at Daegu Catholic University Medical Center. After becoming an American citizen, Dr. Kim also finished an additional OB/GYN residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, New York. She has also undergone extensive training in the latest aesthetic laser technologies and cosmetic injectables.
For the convenience of her patients, Dr. Kim is fluent in English, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish.
