James V. Stonecipher, MD - St. Joseph Health Pain and Spine Associates

James V. Stonechiper, M.D. is an interventional pain specialist. Dr. Stonecipher is a member of Texas Brain and Spine Institue and Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology at Texas A&M Medical School. Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine, he has served as founding member and Medical Director of the Scott and White Ambulatory Surgery Center and founding member and co-director of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging. After completing his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in three years, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Awarded the most Outstanding Anesthesiology Student, he graduated in 1990 with honors and as a member of the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Stonecipher completed his internship and residency from Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Through academic scholarship, he has received comprehensive additional training in implantable technologies and spinal drug delivery systems. He continues to advance his training and expertise in the field of interventional pain medicine through annual continuing education.
