Kenneth D. Hillner, MD - St. Joseph Health Primary Care Bryan

Dr. Ken Hillner and his family chose to make Aggieland their home after eight years as an Air Force physician and a brief stint along the Texas gulf coast. He is a San Antonio native who graduated from Trinity University and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his family medicine residency training at Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth before serving in the United Kingdom. During college he found the girl of his dreams and they have journeyed together in raising their three children. When not in the clinic or hospital; he runs, plays tennis, coaches his kids, and meets with other men who want to be like Jesus. He is proud to be associated with the ministry of Hope Pregnancy Centers and sees it as a vital work in the Brazos Valley. Practicing the full spectrum of family medicine, he sees patients of all ages and their families. While the treatment of chronic medical problems and disease is a mainstay of his work, he has enjoyed practicing obstetrics, performing minor surgery/procedures, doing well visits for children, and treating more acutely ill patients in the hospital. He sees the practice of medicine as challenging and incredibly enjoyable and is grateful for the privilege to treat medical problems and care for people with illness or injury. Adding to this pleasure has been the adventure of working alongside other superlative physicians, as well as support staff and leaders at St. Joseph Regional Health System, who aim to honor God and serve others with high quality and compassionate healthcare.
