David Price, MD, is an experienced urologist in Lufkin, Texas. After graduating with his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School, he completed his surgical residency training and earned a Fellowship in Urology and Urologic Oncology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Price founded the first laparoscopic robotic surgery program in the Ark-La-Tex region in 2003 and has performed more than 1,000 robotic surgical procedures for prostate cancer and other urologic conditions. He has conducted numerous clinical trials and written multiple abstracts, manuscripts, and book chapters. He also received recognition as an American Foundation of Urologic Disease Research Scholar in Urologic Oncology from Duke University Medical Center. Recognized as a Master Surgeon by in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), Dr. Price provides high-quality care in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and has met strict standards for safety, efficacy, and efficiency.  He has particular interests in treating incontinence and pelvic prolapse as well as performing robotic prostatectomies, robotic partial nephrectomies, and no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomies
