CLOSED - Eric C. South, DO

As a Primary Care Physician, Dr. Eric South enjoys building relationships with his patients over time and working together with them as a team. A native of Bellville, Dr. South played football for Baylor University, in Waco, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science. He also holds a Master of Science and a degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, in Fort Worth. He completed his residency as Chief Resident while in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Methodist Health System, in Dallas. Before joining CHI St. Joseph Health, Dr. South worked in the Dallas area. With family in Bryan and Bellville, the South's are happy to be closer to family. Married to Dr. Jamie South, an OB/GYN at Brazos Valley Women s Center, the South's have two daughters. In his free time, Dr. South enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, working on cars and working around the house and yard, and hunting.
