Meet Dr. Ceravolo 
Experienced eye surgeon Joseph Ceravolo, MD, has the expertise to provide the highest level of care that focuses on the unique needs of each patient. Dr. Ceravolo uses the latest vision care technologies at North Columbus Eye Center in Columbus, Georgia, to enhance his patients' experiences. He takes a concierge-style approach to care and sees adolescents from age 12 up through one's golden years.
Dr. Ceravolo is certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains privileges at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Ceravolo has extensive experience in numerous refractive surgeries, including Z-LASIK. He treats a wide variety of eye conditions, such as cataracts and glaucoma, using state-of-the-art ophthalmic technologies and treatment plans tailored to patients' needs. Dr. Ceravolo also offers the latest advancements in vision correction, including Active Life Lens, Crystalens HD™, and Visian™ Implantable Collamer® Lenses (ICL).
After completing his undergraduate work and earning his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Ceravolo finished his general surgery residency at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. He also practiced in emergency medicine for several years before founding North Columbus Eye Center. Dr. Ceravolo is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
