Rae Anne Kinney was headed out for a latte and longed for a freshly baked scone to pair it with. Out of the clear blue Carolina sky the name “Pine Scones” popped into her head! The name quickly compelled her to start baking and testing recipes with friends and family. Pine Scone Café of Pinehurst, located on Linden Road, thrives in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by wonderful people! Our second location, on Brucewood Road in Southern Pines, makes it possible to share our addicting Pine Scones and hand-crafted beverages with a broader community. As our customer base continues to grow, it’s clear that “everybody must get sconed”!
