Dr. Joe R. Jansen

Dr. Jansen is a native of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and went to Walnut Ridge Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. He graduated from high school in 1990. Upon graduation, he received an academic scholarship to the University of Arkansas. He made the Dean’s List as an undergraduate and completed his degree in Microbiology. After he graduated from the U of A he moved to Little Rock to pursue a Master’s Degree in Physiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The degree was completed in 1998. He started medical school in 1999 and graduated in 2003. After finishing training in Internal Medicine in 2006 he completed his second residency in Anesthesiology. He is a past President of the Arkansas Society of Anesthesiologists. He joined Pain Treatment Centers of America in January 2020 to focus on his passion for helping patients with chronic pain syndromes.
