Under the direction of Saka Kazeem, MD, a skilled endocrinologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience, Elk Medical offers a broad array of care options. Dr. Kazeem and his team offer advanced and interventional management, using cutting-edge technology for thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menopause, and many other conditions. Dr. Kazeem earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan’s College of Medicine in Nigeria. He completed his residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in endocrinology at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Kazeem has served as president of medical staff and chief of endocrinology at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn and on the minority affairs committee of the American Association of Endocrinology. He is a two-time recipient of the quality improvement and health outcomes award granted by the Foundation for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. In addition to his duties at Elk Medical, Dr. Kazeem serves on advisory committees at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center as well as New York–Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.
