Action Mini Storage began almost forty (40) years ago in 1980 at Norwalk, Ohio.

The original owners were Jack and Pricilla Tremmel (husband and wife) who had also acquired and remodeled Action Auto Supply, Inc and Action Auto Wash with locations on Rte 18 & 20 and Cline St. in Norwalk, Ohio.

Jack had over 30 years previous experience as the owner of his own excavating company and his talent and expertise complimented the various business construction projects, especially one of Norwalk’s first mini storage facilities.

Pricilla began as a bookkeeper in the mid 1960’s for the Action Auto Supply companies, eventually earning enough shares of stock to acquire the Norwalk location in 1975.

Both Jack and Pricilla were committed to the basic principles of hard work (their auto parts store was open 12 hours week days and until 4:30 pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s), commitment to the Norwalk area (support of local businesses and active in the business community) and family.

Action Mini Storage expanded beyond the original Rte.18 & Rte. 20 location and now includes the larger mini storage complex at 3837 Laylin Rd, Norwalk, OH acquired in 1995 with new buildings constructed in 1997, 2000, 2008 and 2012.

There are currently 242 total mini storage rental units available with 193 rentals located on Laylin Rd and 49 units located on 76 Cleveland Rd (State Rtes 18 & 20).

Total rental capacity is 37,000 square feet under roof.
