Emily Burnham, MD

Emily Burnham, M.D. received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia where she also completed her residency. Dr. Burnham is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Burnham specializes in Internal Medicine and provides services and treatment for patients’ ages 18 and up. She believes that her duty as a primary care physician is to promote health and treat disease by providing her patients with the best available information, while respecting individual values and preferences--essentially, to give advice, while letting people participate actively in all decisions related to their health and health care. She also offers pap smears as well as minor office procedures. In her spare time, Dr. Burnham enjoys listening to music, reading, cooking, and riding her bicycle. Dr. Burnham welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
