New Day Solar, formerly Carlson Solar, was a pioneer in the solar industry in Southern California, installing some of the first solar electric systems in San Diego and Riverside County. After a short period of early retirement, both Mary and Scott have once again decided to continue doing what they do best: bringing solar to the people at reasonable prices, doing quality installations, while reducing our dependency on oil imports and providing clean, renewable energy for our planet.

Our estimates are for turn-key solar electric systems. The price of our solar electric systems include: permitting, the CA Solar Initiative (CSI) reservation paperwork, net metering agreements with the local utility company, a twenty five year warranty from the module manufacturer, a 10 or 25 year warranty from the inverter manufacturer, depending on which inverter is installed with your system and a full 10 year warranty from New Day Solar.
