Sara Lohser, MD

Dr. Lohser credits her mother, also a physician, as her first and chief inspiration for pursuing a career in medicine. As a child who struggled with eczema, psoriasis and acne, Dr. Lohser’s decision to pursue dermatology was heavily influenced by the compassionate, quality care she herself received in her youth. She believes her robust professional training and skills, in concert with her own experiences as a patient make her the effective and responsive provider she is today. Dr. Lohser’s approach to care is a highly collaborative one — she listens to her patients first and then works alongside them to develop an individualized treatment plan that is both appropriate for the patient and responsive to their diagnosis.
