Elena Maria Hannon, M.D.

I was born and raised in a rural area near Boulder, Colorado. I live in Seattle with my son and our French bulldog, Taco. I pursued a career in medicine as that’s what inspired me in the fourth grade when I learned about life sciences. Although I love my work, I have varied outside interests including cooking, going to spin class and traveling whenever possible. I am an avid spin cyclist, go on yearly trips abroad for yoga, love cooking classes, and wine tasting. Recently, I began a new hobby involving glass mosaic art. I am passionate about traveling. Music is also an important part of my life and makes nearly every experience better. I started a rooftop garden a few years ago and have been able to supply some of our summer produce each year. I also love walking my dog, Taco, around our Capitol Hill neighborhood and Discovery Park.
