Tanya M. Nazemi, M.D.

"Dr. Tanya Nazemi is originally from Texas where she performed her undergraduate studies at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, followed by medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. At the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, she completed two years of general surgery and her urology residency in 2006. She completed a fellowship in Voiding Dysfunction and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, in 2007. Before joining Swedish Urology Group, she worked on the east side for 8 years where she focused on providing excellent care to all her patients, many of whom struggle with female incontinence issues. Dr. Nazemi is certified by the American Board of Urology and subspecialty certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). She is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, the Society of Women in Urology, and the Washington State Medical Association. Dr. Nazemi was named a Top Doctor by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine in 2013 and 2015. Her interests include cooking, travel, and spending time with her husband and two boys."
