"I love the community and sense of joint mission at ICHS. Most of our patients face significant cultural, language, and resource barriers to receiving the healthcare that they deserve. I’m proud to be part of a team that prioritizes them and helps them lead healthy and fulfilling lives. In addition to clinical work, I enjoy helping train and mentor the next generation of doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and nurses. I’m proud that ICHS not only provides clinical care, but also addresses larger social determinants of health through mentorship, advocacy, and outreach. My goal as a doctor is to understand what my patients’ goals are and how I can help to achieve and maintain them. I love providing full spectrum care for the whole family from obstetrics to geriatrics. Specific clinical interests include addiction medicine, primary care for patients with severe mental illness, comprehensive women’s health, and addressing the impact of racism in our healthcare system. I love graphic novels and biking to work. I have a pet chinchilla named clover who I continue to bribe one raisin at a time."
