Ciara Richardson

"Ciara has been attending births since 2014. Starting as a birth photographer, her passion for birth and supporting women grew like wildfire. She received her Birth Doula certification and training through Birth Arts International in 2017. Ciara feels that birth is unique and individual to every person. It is unlike any other experience in life and allows us to discover a deeper and truer sense of strength. She believes we are at our most beautiful when we are most vulnerable. She strives to create a safe, peaceful environment regardless of birthing choices or circumstances. Believing education is our strongest tool, she encourages all clients to understand all their options and choices. Doula care looks a little different for everyone, and Ciara works hard to provide personal, supportive care for each person’s individual needs. Ciara is experienced with medicated and non-medicated, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) deliveries, planned and un-planned cesareans, high risk and low risk pregnancies, multiples, single parents, same-sex couples.
