"Dr. Palmer provides personalized oncology and hematology care based on developing compassionate understanding of the patient and educating the patient to be able to participate in an informed way in their own management decisions. He has broad oncology and hematology clinical and research experience, having practiced in three countries in both the academic and community practice settings, as well as oncology research in the biotech industry. Prior to joining Swedish, Dr. Palmer was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA, and before that Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean of Clinical Education at the University of Alberta."
