Sophia Tschida

"Sophia Tschida honors a deep commitment to facilitate safe and sacred space for her clients' birth experience. She provides compassionate birth support for her clients and their diverse family structures, and the resources they need to confidently and courageously make decisions. She believes in her clients' ability to trust their intuition, and to make their own informed decisions about their own bodies. Her intention is to honor, support and encourage that process, wherever it starts. Sophia completed her DONA Birth Doula training in 2016 at the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations at Bastyr University. She is also currently a student of Childbirth International's Birth Doula training program. When Sophia is not attending Births, you can find her running around the beaches and woodlands of her home on Bainbridge Island, making art, working in the garden, studying plants and wildcrafting.
